Below is the current list of cameras that meet the requirements to work with AwareNet.
We do our best to keep this information reliable but it is not guaranteed.

Other camera brands/models will be added to the list as soon as we can test them.  To request support for a camera not listed below, tell us the make and model of the camera.

The minimum requirements for a camera are:

Available at www.reolink.com and www.amazon.com.

All currently models for sale by Reolink should be compatible AwareNet.

If you have a standard outlet available to power a camera, the Reolink Duo 2 WiFi is most often the best option.   It is suitable for locating on a house or garage up to 35 feet from the street or alley.   You will also need a  256GB class 10 data card.  The Duo Floodlight is a good option is you need/want to really light up a dark area.

If you must have a battery-powered camera, the Duo 2 battery-powered  camera with matching solar panel is a good option.  It is suitable for locating adjacent to the street or alley.  It is not a good choice for installing at a location that is more than 10 feet from the sidewalk/street or areas with continuous people/vehicle traffic.  You will also need a 256GB class 10 data card.

Many other models are available for specific situations.  Feel free to contact us with your questions.

Amcrest

The Amcrest cameras with AI person & vehicle detection have the ability to send email alerts (but not webhook alerts).  However, there is no option to include the video clip with the email.  So the cameras do not meet the minimum requirements to work with AwareNet.

Blink

Unfortunately, Blink cameras do not meet the minimum requirements to work with AwareNet because they cannot send an email or webhook to AwareNet when the camera senses motion.

Nest

The Nest Outdoor camera can send an email (but not a webhook) when the camera senses motion. However, the only option is to send the email to the email account the camera is registered to.  Depending on what email account the camera is registered to, it might be possible to configure that account to automatically forward the alerts to AwareNet.  If you have a Nest Outdoor camera and would like to try this, please contact us.

Ring

Unfortunately, Ring cameras do not meet the minimum requirements to work with AwareNet because they cannot send an email or webhook to AwareNet when the camera senses motion.

SimpliSafe

The SimpliSafe camera with person detection has the ability to send email alerts.  However, there is no option to include the video clip with the email.  And it cannot send a webhook.  So the camera does not meet the minimum requirements to work with AwareNet.

Wyze

Unfortunately, Wyze cameras do not meet the minimum requirements to work with AwareNet because they cannot send an email or webhook to AwareNet when the camera senses motion.
